Level 1 of 300
Level 1 of 300
Wood Block Puzzle is a free, relaxing brain game you play right in the browser — no download and no sign-up. Drag the wooden pieces from the tray onto the 8×8 grid, and every time you completely fill a row or a column it clears and scores points. There are 300 hand-built levels that start gently and get trickier as the board fills, so there is always a target to beat and a best score to chase. Your progress is saved on your own device, so you can close the tab and pick up the next level later.
Pick a piece from the "Available wooden pieces" tray and drag it onto the board. A green highlight means the piece fits; red means it overlaps a block or hangs off the edge. Fill an entire row or column to clear it — clearing several lines at once is worth far more points. When none of your current pieces fit anywhere, the round ends, so plan a few moves ahead and keep empty space open. Tap Hint if you get stuck, or Replay to restart the level.
Work from the edges inward and try to keep at least one large open area so bigger pieces always have somewhere to go. Set up two lines that can clear together for a combo, and avoid dropping single blocks into the middle where they strand awkward gaps. The game works the same on a phone, a tablet or a desktop, and once a level has loaded it keeps playing even without a connection.
You reached the points target.
Play Wood Block Puzzle free online: drag wooden blocks onto a square grid and clear full rows and columns to win. It covers Available wooden pieces, About Wood Block Puzzle, How to play and Tips for a high score. Everything runs inside the page, so there is nothing to install and no account to create. Open it, use it, close the tab — nothing is kept on a server and nothing is emailed to you.
Wood Block Puzzle is built as a single web page. The whole thing is HTML, CSS and JavaScript delivered on first load, which is why it starts instantly and keeps working even on a slow connection. Your input is processed in the browser on your own device rather than being uploaded and handed back, so there is no queue to wait in and no upload limit to hit.
The board sizes itself to whatever screen you open it on, so the grid and the piece tray stay big enough to aim at on a phone and spread out properly on a laptop or a large monitor. Dragging a piece works the same with a finger, a mouse or a trackpad, and every action — hint, replay, next level — is a button you can see on screen.
Is it free? Yes. Wood Block Puzzle is free to use and is paid for by the banner ads on the page — there are no pop-ups, no interstitials and no paid tier holding features back.
Is any registration required? No. There is no sign-up, no email and no password. Your level progress and best score are kept on your own device instead.
Is it playable on a touchscreen? Yes — dragging is touch-first, and while you move a piece it rides just above your fingertip so the cell you are aiming at stays visible. The board rescales when you rotate the phone.
Do I have to download the game? No. The whole game — all 300 levels, the board and the hint logic — arrives as one page on first load, so there is no store page, no installer and no add-on.
