How to play Wood Block Puzzle
Wood Block Puzzle is a clear-the-lines block game. Drag the wooden block pieces onto the square grid, and whenever a whole row or whole column is filled, those blocks clear and disappear and you score points. Reach the level's points target to win — and each level is harder than the last.
Controls
- Drag a piece — up to three wooden pieces wait in the tray; drag one onto the board (mouse or touch).
- Drop it — release over empty cells. The target glows green when it fits and red when it doesn't. Placed blocks lock in.
- Clear lines & score — fill an entire row or column and it vanishes for points (clearing several at once scores far more).
- Get new pieces — once you place all three pieces, a fresh set appears.
- 💡 Hint — auto-places the piece that clears the most lines.
- ↺ Replay — restarts the level. Next Level → appears once you reach the points target.
- Levels — jump to any level you've unlocked (1–300). ⛶ Fullscreen fills your screen.
Winning & game over
Each level has a points target — reach it and the level is solved 🎉 with Replay and Next Level. You earn points for every block placed and far more for clearing lines (clear two or three lines at once for big combo points). If none of your pieces can fit on the board any more, it's game over for that level and you can Replay. Your progress and best score are saved automatically.
Tips & strategy
- Keep the board open. Clear lines often so you always have room for the next pieces.
- Plan all three. Look at every piece in the tray before placing — order matters.
- Build toward lines. Aim placements so a single piece completes a row or column.
- Save big pieces a spot. Don't fragment the board so the 3×3 and long pieces can't fit.
- Use a hint to clear the most lines when you're stuck.
Difficulty
Levels start on an 8×8 grid with an easy points target and gradually grow to a large 10×10 board with bigger pieces, fewer tiny fillers and much higher targets, so the puzzles get harder as you progress through all 300 levels.
